Il commento Il miglior film di Miyazaki, senza un singolo difetto (forse solo qualche traccia di brutta CG) e sbalorditivo da ogni punto di vista. Se non che a me trafigge meno il cuore di altri film di Hayao.

Il commento Da antico ammiratore del romanzo di Buzzati, ho trovato la parabola morale meno convincente e meno favolosa di come la ricordavo, ma alcuni passaggi tecnici, il design e soprattutto l’uso delle ombre sono splendidi.

Il commento Film dominato da Frances McDormand, tenera e dura come solo lei sa essere, è un affascinante semi-documentario. Non credo verrà ricordato a lungo, però impossibile non affezionarsi a questi strambi camperisti.
