Il commento L’idea di un mondo dell’aldilà più vivo e colorato non è nuova ma perfettamente coerente con lo spirito di Tim Burton, e tutto sommato banalotta. La cosa migliore del film è tuttavia la recitazione dei pupazzi, soprattutto Emily, davvero straordinaria. Film forse non necessario, ma non sgradito.

Il commento Il trailer mi aveva ingannato, non è un nostalgico per bamboccioni alla Stranger Things, ma un omaggio agli splatteroni italiani anni ‘80, diciamo Bava, Fulci e giù di lì. Pur avendo valori produttivi bassi (in particolare, il cast è un canile e le musiche poche e ripetitive) ed pur essendo assai sgangherato, l’ho trovata una visione fresca e divertente, con un po’ di budella liberatorie, una trama assurda che sembra uscita da un Dylan Dog di Chiaverotti ma che in qualche modo si fa perdonare. Incomprensibile la mancanza di tette, però, limitatasi a un sideboob. In che tempi viviamo… Lillo interpreta un fumettista, è cane quasi quanti gli altri ma ha presenza scenica.

Il commento Il primo film della riedizioni di Evangelion è poco più di un riassuntone delle prime sei puntate, fatte meglio (ma non così tanto) e con qualche piccola variazione sufficiente a fibrillare i fan e gettare la basi dei film successivi.

Il commento Il miglior film di Goro reca l’impronta di Hayao, che probabilmente ha diretto anche qualche scena, è un vividissimo quadro di un periodo poco sfruttato del Giappone, a base di melodramma e spirito della gioventù.

Il commento Commedia moderatamente scorretta con uno Steve Carrell tenuto un po’ alla briglia, risulta comunque abbastanza divertente e con un fattore “awww” a tratti discreto. Il messaggio di “c’è posto per tutti” è banalotto ma non scontato, dato il contesto USA.

Il commento Curioso horror italiano, che parte con una trasposizione dei film “persi nel bosco” in ambiente calabro, per poi diventare sul finale qualcosa di diverso, e forse anche un po’ troppo, tra riferimenti alla mafia, misticismo, sfondamento della quarta parete. Però non malaccio.

Il commento Mi è piaciuta poco questa rivisitazione della fiaba del ranocchio ambientata a New Orleans. Qualche gag ben riuscita, qualche buona scena sul finale, qualche gustosa citazione, ma per il resto tanta noia e piattume.

Il commento Peccato per quelle due o tre canzoni di troppo, perché la versione disneyana del Gobbo è davvero un buon lavoro, a livello di regia, di ambientazione, di fedeltà allo spirito dell’opera (nei limiti disneyani, chiaramente) e soprattutto di recitazione.

Il commento Si chiude la trilogia Fear Street con un film solo a metà nel 1666, in cui diventa un film di streghe, e un bel twist che guida la seconda parte. Probabilmente la parte girata meglio, conclude degnamente e con soddisfazione la trilogia, lasciando spazio per possibili continuazioni, prima, durante e dopo.

Il commento Secondo film della trilogia Fear Street, appare come un Friday 13th con elementi sovrannaturali quasi canonico, eppure continua il bel lavoro sui personaggi e sulla costruzione della trama globale. Una bella sorpresa.
