Il commento Primo film della trilogia Fear Street, è uno slasher canonico con elementi sovrannaturali, godibile da solo anche senza gli agganci alla trilogia. Complessivamente ben fatto, ben girato e con bei personaggi. Meglio di quanto sperassi.

Il commento Cult dei primi 2000 recuperato con troppo ritardo, Santa Maradona è un film frammentario, con una storia esile esile, personaggi a cui affezionarsi (tranne Accorsi, ovviamente) e anche un po’ identificarsi, un sacco di piccoli dialoghi interessanti e scene da citare. Un unicum, nel suo genere.

Il commento Piccolo horror Blumhouse in cui si sfrutta lo spunto “tutto online” per tagliare il budget. La premessa di “fantasma nella rete ma che sa anche ammazzare chissà come” è risibile e i protagonisti tutti insopportabili, tanto che fa piacere vederli schiattare, ma la tensione funzionicchia.

Il commento Omaggio a Raffaella Carrà (che compare anche in un gustoso cameo), è un film coloratissimo e stupidino, che gioca a fare Almodovar senza averne un decimo della sensibilità e delle capacità. Divertente e dimenticabilissimo.

Il commento Buona commedia italiana, poi sviluppata in una discreta trilogia. C’è di interessante che, al di là della satira sociale e dello spunto un po’ già visto in Breaking Bad, c’è dell’azione anche girata piuttosto bene.

Il commento Montaggione di Evangelion non cronologico ma per personaggio. Mettendomi nei panni di chi ricorda poco, probabilmente genera confusione, per chi l’ha fresco è interessante. I limiti dell’animazione televisiva si vedono parecchio, al cinema.

Il commento Ennesima re-visione di End of Evangelion, al cinema questa volta. Il film alterna parti di azioni che al cinema sono pazzesche al delirio della depressione di Anno, che in parte funziona, almeno come suggestione, e in parte no.

Il commento Sono piuttosto tiepido su Luca. Il film ha qualche buon momento e qualche bella gag, ma un inizio tremendo, e il vagheggiamento dell’Italia anni ‘50 è chiaramente a uso americano, sebbene si veda che Casarosa ci abbia messo tutto l’affetto che ha per il suo (e nostro) angolo di mondo. Il momento migliore per me è il tradimento dell’amicizia. Ecco, pur non essendoci una vera romance (forse in nuce) tra Luca e Giulia e quindi non essendoci il classico motivo di rottura, quel momento mi ha colpito molto (anche se poi si risolve in fretta, e senza grossi drammi)

Il commento Un thriller claustrofobico a colpi di alligatori, con un po’ di wtf e tanta fatica a mantenere la sospensione dell’incredulità. Un sacco di debiti nei confronti di Jaws, ma comunque la tensione a tratti funziona benino.

Il commento Uno spunto molto originale e stuzzicante (“e se tutti dimenticassero i Beatles tranne uno?”) trasfigurato in una commedia romantica, ben scritta, recitata e girata. Qualche piccolo passaggio a vuoto, una satira dell’industria musicale fuori tempo massimo, ma nel complesso una bella sorpresa.
